Mira Quell works between composition, moving image, and improvised electronics. Her pieces often begin with a single practical question—how long can a texture remain familiar, or how little can a rhythm say—and expand through patient changes of scale.

She collaborates with filmmakers and dancers, building sound that leaves room for another medium rather than explaining it. The result is direct, tactile, and deliberately unresolved.
